In
plastics molding, rotational molding and rotary forming are terms used to
describe a long-established technology. There are reports that the Qing Dynasty
was the birthplace of the pioneering technology of rotomolding. The first
commercial rolling molding machine was invented in 1934, and the first
rotomolding patent was released in 1887. In the 1950s, the movement developed
dramatically in Europe and then spread from there to America and Japan, among
other places. Injection molding and blow molding were initially used as a
supplement. In the China Rotomould Company, rotomolding
is becoming an increasingly competitive molding technique due to mature
polyethylene power technology. Having developed all over the world, Chinarotomolding has continued to grow since then.
Among
developed nations in Europe and North America, rotomolding has grown quickly,
its growth speed being higher than the average speed of the plastic industry.
There are several professional auxiliary plants in the rotomolding industry as
well, such as mold factories, mold release agent factories, rotomolding special
paint manufacturers, mill factories, insert factories, equipment manufacturing
plants for rotomolding, and lots of plastic special row material suppliers. The
plastic equipment for manufacturing in developed countries is becoming more
sophisticated, moving steadily towards higher and higher levels of automation.
Rotomolding
is now able to produce not only simple single-piece small products but also
complex multi-layer products of all sizes, including cars, planes and power
tools, ships, and human organs.
There
are currently two major categories of rolling machine heating, say, direct fire
and hot box. The main method of manufacturing large goods is by direct fire,
such as direct heat swing type rolling machines. It has been observed that
thermal heating boxes for small and medium-sized products, as well as
"oyster" type rolling machines have developed quickly in recent
years.
Furthermore,
developed countries improve the control level of rolling machines in addition
to improving the type of machines. A system for diagnosing rotomolding
processes has been successfully opened up. In addition to temperature
measurement and control display, the system is now almost perfect after
improvement. In the hot box, a radio real-time thermocouple temperature can be
sent from the part of the temperature measurement sealed on the thermal
insulation to the monitoring computer. A graph of the temperature/time curves
will appear on the monitoring computer. With the curve in comparison with the
hot oven curve, the plastic mold and the mold heat transfer in the heating
process can be visually seen, as well as the heated material condition. The
operation can be utilized by operators to optimize heating and cooling cycles,
to guarantee a higher level of plasticization, to maximize product strength, to
reduce production costs, and to get a better understanding of the mold and new
raw materials.
When it
comes to the use of domestic roll-plastic equipment, the most commonly used
machines are swings, shuttles, towers, and others are considerably less;
domestic roll machine manufacturers are almost the same; domestic companies own
a few roll rolling machines, most have one or two.
Rotomolding
industry development in China differs greatly from that in developed countries.
The development of rolling molding machines and plastic molds has been gradual,
however. Roll plastic varieties are also increasing as well as materials for
rolling molding. Rotomolding industry has been experiencing rapid growth over
the past few years, and international communication has increased
significantly.
Developing
the Rotomolding industry in our country depends on continuous improvement in
rolling machine manufacturing technology and related technologies, as well as
constant new product development of plastic products. An association dedicated
to rotomolding will also be a powerful boost to the development of all
rotomolding aspects in our country, which need to be accomplished with
continuous joint effort. The Chinese robotics industry is expected to grow
rapidly.
